Overview

In the new education policy, the educational institutes will be provided autonomy which will need upgradation of institute resources and development of systems to run the institute at upgraded level. Also in the current competitive environment, the engineering institutes have to keep abreast with the fast changing technological developments to develop employable skills in the pass-outs. The institute performance and preparedness in terms of resources, expertise, teaching-learning methodologies and evaluations systems need to be reviewed periodically to evaluate its efficacy and efficiency. This course has been designed to enable the faculty members to develop parameters for institute review, prepare for review process, mentor junior colleagues on implementing the outcomes of institute review and conduct peer review of other institutes. The course aims at providing interactive MOOC learning experience and with a focus to train the in-service teachers. The learning effort required by the teachers for this module is 20 hours, which will include studying the e-content and related videos, completing activities and assignments.

· SWOC (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Challenges) Analysis

Unit 3: Academic Process

· Student admissions, Progression and Quality of pass-outs

Unit 4: Human Resources
