Indian Economics – Paper 2 is a 50 Module course, examines sector-specific polices and their impact in shaping trends in key economic indicators in India.This course within the broad domain of ECONOMICS is based on Core Course of the UGC CBCS syllabus of B.A. / B.Sc. (Honours) in Economics.This course focuses in detail on the major trends in economic indicators and policy debates in India in the post-Independence period, with particular emphasis on paradigm shifts and turning points. It also studies different issues of development of India and make a comparative assessment with other countries. This course also examines sector-specific polices and their impact in shaping trends in key economic indicators in India. It highlights major policy debates and evaluates the Indian empirical evidence.The course, to be covered in 50 modules, will be delivered over a period of 15 WEEKS. 3 to 4 lectures will be released every week.
