ABOUT THE COURSE:This is a 12-week course on Free Surface Flows spanning across different topics including uniform flow, critical flow, gradually varied flow, rapidly varied flows, spatially varied flows and unsteady open channelflows. The course is intended for UG, PG and PhD students of the department of civil, mechanical, agricultural and ocean engineering who are interested in developing a better understanding on the area of environmental open channel flows. The course is also suitable for applied mathematicians who are interested in some theoretical analysis pertaining to civil engineering hydraulics.INTENDED AUDIENCE: UG/ PG/ PhD students of the department of Civil,Mechanical, Ocean and Agricultural Engineering.PREREQUISITES: Fluid Mechanics
