This course is based on a premise that creativity and imagination have an innate ability to push the cognitive boundaries beyond the limits of logic and reason. Hence the course intends to prime the learners to better understand and appreciate life through teaching Literature as it embodies profound and aesthetic expressions of humanity. Equipped with a curated reading of poetry, fiction, and drama, it proposes to promote imaginative reading and critical thinking skills and thereby help learners in deeply engaging with people and the world around. Through lectures, interactions and assignments, the course also encourages learners to develop an awareness to recognise diversities and accommodate differences such that it fosters and fortifies the multicultural fabric of humanity.PREREQUISITES: NilINTENDED-AUDIENCE:The Course is open to everyone interested in Literature; especially, UG/PG/Research Students, Industry AssociatesINDUSTRY-SUPPORT:Colleges/Universities; Publishing Industry; Training Institutes; Media, Journalism and Communication Industry.
