This course deals with familiarizing students with the conceptual and theoretical framework of accounting and making them understand the art and science of applying fundamentals of accounting concepts and conventions and to present the financial statements in the true and fair manner. The students shall be provided practical labs to apply the accounting concepts via application software like Tally ERP, Busy etc. The special accounting treatments like Joint venture, Hire Purchase, Consignment etc shall also be taught.
