This branch of psychology concerns itself with the biological basis of behaviour. The nervous system and the endocrine systems determine all behaviour, including the cognitive and the affective aspects. Through the present course the student will get a fair idea of the emergence, nature, scope and methods of biopsychology, along with a good knowledge of the nervous and endocrine systems. The course holds importance for a fundamental understanding of the subject, as well as for the purpose of treatment and rehabilitation in case of brain injuries and other neuropsychological problems
