If we talk about western life style and the theories given by western scholars, we see that these theories are being accepted, taught and practised by Indian management students and managers. but countries like us who cannot afford such a luxurious lifestyle, cannot succeed economically and socially by blindly following the western management techniques. We, as Indians have a unique living style and social system which needs the support of our own economic and business management system to develop an efficient society and economy. But we are following the management techniques of the western countries which are richer than us in resources. This irony may take the country downward. Hence, we should bring changes to the management courses and produce such managers who are skilled to work in our economy as per our unique needs. Our ancient management systems were working on the sustainability of the planet rather than encouraging consumerism. Most of the people in India are working on Mahabharata, Gita, and Vedas, but other ancient religious pieces of literature also have a lot of information on subjects like science, mathematics, music, astronomy, geography, and management etc. which deserve thorough study of the applied management concepts.Devdutt Pattnaik's work is also worth mentioning. But still much is unexplored and needs attention..... The course is divided into twelve units. These units will be covered in video lectures, study material, books and references with an approach to make the ancient concepts of management clear to the budding managers of India, so that they can practise these concepts in their future career as managers in the corporates.
