Overview

[Recommended Preparation: RDG 158 or equivalent or through the Southwestern College multiple measures placement processes.] Examines the history of Asian Americans in the United States from 1846 to the present. Major themes include the study of economic developments, occupational patterns, anti-Asian movements, inter-ethnic exchanges, gender, and intergenerational issues.
