Woodworking Techniques for Beginners Part AÂ aims to give you confidence in working with wood and creating your own projects. The skills you will learn can be applied to everyday household maintenance or to building something really special for you or loved ones. Few tools are required to begin with and may grow over time. An electric drill is the only mechanised device and all the rest are hand tools. The course will help you to learn how to use hand saws, chisels, hammers, planes etc and joining wood as well as offering hints about setting up your work space.
Woodworking Techniques for Beginners Part B continues your woodworking experience and  looks at three more hand tools: hammer, chisels and saws. The project is a spice rack which is always a useful thing to have or give away as a present. Importantly though it also shows you how to make Mortice and Tenon and Stopped Housing joints which are really delightful and very useful. I look forward to seeing you.
Fun, practical and rewarding.
