The first product I ever sold, a T-Shirt, was from Zazzle back in 2013. I was so excited I showed all my friends the sales receipt, some haters (you George) didn't even believe that someone would buy the silly hip-hop designs I had made from commercial-free fonts online. Fast forward a year later, 2014, I just sold my 1,000th product on Redbubble, a purple t shirt with my FRESH logo on it. I was so happy, and even more happy that the product happened to be this shirt.

Out of all the sites I sold my art on, Redbubble got the most sales for my art. Over time, with my interest in SEO and writing good copy, I dialed in a Redbubble specific strategy to sell more artwork  At the time I write this I have over 11,000 sales, having sold something every day since nov 2013.

This course shows you specific strategies to dominate Redbubble.

I will introduce you to a formula of your success, and how to manipulate the variables, like views & conversions, through easy and targeted strategies. We will talk about your profile, collections, activity, titles, descriptions and tags, and more. We will discuss the good, better, and best ways to promote your art for free online. No spending money on ads. Just search engine traffic generating consistent sales.

I look forward to sharing these strategies with you. I get great joy seeing others be as excited as I was when I started selling my art. I know you will get many times your value back from this course. Get out there and sell some art!!

Mid 2020 UPDATE: Hey guys. I wanted to give you a little update on Redbubble.

First off Redbubble is still the best place to sell your art online!!! I am proof. As of yesterday, my total number of sales (across 3 profiles) are at 19,278 units!!

Secondly, the uploader is even better now!

  1. You can copy settings from a previous upload
  2. You can change all the images at once
  3. You can upload just one image (largest size) and it will translate on every product IMPORTANT: To render a PNG larger than 8192x8192 pixels go to File > Export > Export As and choose PNG and it's ready to upload!

Thirdly Fan Art!! Fan art has ben "legalized" on Redbubble

  1. Read more from RB here
  2. Check out my Skillshare Class on Fan Art here

Fourthly, some things didn't get better.

  1. Now you just have a 500 character bio in your profile
  2. ~250 characters limit on image descriptions! (Read below how to deal with this)
  3. Formatting options have been limited, including links and html (now not working)

Fifthly, some things just changed

  1. New UI
  2. New profile layouts
  3. New portfolio layouts

Sixthly, some new things showed up

  1. Masks, mats, shower curtains. A whole slew of new products are available on Redbubble!!
  2. Go check them out!!

Link Resumes with Limited Characters

Several students have raised concerns about the link resume technique with these changes. We are now very limited in our ability to send users to our other websites and profiles. One way to get around this is with services like Linktree.

To implement this, set up a Linktree (or similar service) and you will get a link like this: linktr.ee/yourinstagramname which will house all the links in your link resume. Then you can place a line like this at the VERY top of the image description:

Discover More: linktr.ee/ammonislove

See how I implemented this technique here

Important to know, this link will not be clickable (even if you try with the https ://) so you are hoping someone pastes it in their browser. It's the best we can do in these circumstances.

To comply with their tightening rules, I wouldn't put anything about a competitor service in the text before the link (why I used a generic "Discover More"). They don't like it when you explicitly link to a competitor.

You can use this same link in your bio, etc.

Facebook Group Update: I am no longer on Facebook, so I won't be able to approve new members to the Make Money online as an Artist group. Apologies if you didn't get the chance to join, but no worries, there are many other active groups out there.

Miscellaneous update: The Wanelo extension doesn't appear to be working anymore. No word if it will return.
