Overview

Sculpting Basics: Modeling Clays & Materials for Mixed Media Sculptures - A Guide for Artists

--------------

This class is meant for artists interested in mixed media sculptures that feel overwhelmed by the amount of available and different clays.

I will present most of contemporary clays that are available, explaining what they are, their inherent properties and down falls and how to use them.
You will also find specific projects for each material, so you can see how to handle them.
I hope this class will open your eyes to the possibilities of current clays and help you make more informed decision on which clay to buy and which one to skip.

I have also decided to touch a little on paper, as it is a material that I personally use a lot in my artistic work and that I feel is often overlooked by clay artists.
