Goldfish are pure joy. Their bright colors glimmer in ponds and tanks. They dart and flash around in the water and cannot fail to lift your mood.
Painting goldfish is a joy, too. They are fairly simple to paint and the nature of watercolor, the way the paint spreads and bleeds on the paper, yields beautiful results. It's magical and fun!
In this class I take you step by step through my process for painting goldfish. I demonstrate painting three different colors of fish: an orange fish, a red and white fish and a calico fish and give suggestions for other painting possibilities.
