How To Start A Portrait Drawing 'Lightning Fast'

Starting a portrait drawing is often an intimidating experience. Doing it with speed is an even more difficult skill to master, but fear not, it is possible!

In this course I will show you exactly how to start a portrait with the kind of speed you've only dreamed of up to this point. We'll do it by editing out everything but the essentials you need to know to make it happen, and jettison everything else that is holding you back–like details, textures and pesky anatomy.

Many art professions require the artist to draw quickly and accurately. Professions such as 2D animator, storyboard artist, portrait artist, illustrator, caricature artist and concept artist all demand speed due to fast paced schedules.

Believe me I know. I have worked in all of these capacities over the years. One thing I struggled with was speed. But I have discovered some secrets that I want to share with you so you can experience the joy of sketching with more freedom, speed and accuracy than ever before. 

Whether you are just a casual doodler who loves drawing portraits or a serious artist with sights on becoming/being a pro this short, highly focused course is going to show you how to start portraits at high speed.
