In this class, you will understand the basics of video editing using iMovie on your iPad - a free software which is pre-installed. We'll be making a YouTube-style video demonstrating how to solve a Rubik's Cube. We will be using several free resources to enhance our project.
This class can be broken down into three small steps:
- Colour correction - Before you start editing, we will colour correct our footage using the in-built photos application on your iPad.Â
- The heavy lifting - We'll learn how to perform basic edits such as cutting, moving clips around and adding music/sound effects.
- The finesse - To spice up your project, we'll be using several iMovie features that can really make the viewer engaged with your video. We'll be learning techniques such as writing on the screen, splitting the screen in two and using the picture-in-picture function.
