Forager's Silver Clay

via Skillshare

Overview

Come with me down the Somerset country lanes, and find some inspiration for beautiful, organic silver clay pendants.

You don't need any silver smithing experience, just a love of nature and a desire to make something beautiful.

I'll show you which bits to look out for in nature, how to make moulds of them and how to use those moulds to make beautiful pendants in pure silver.  You don't need lots of traditional silversmithing tools, but there is an optional section on soldering for those who are feeling adventurous.

You'll find a full list of the tools and materials needed in the 'Your Project' section, in both word and pages format. Don't be put off by the length of it, only some of the items are essential. Lots of the items can be found around the home, or bought easily and cheaply.

The end result will be some lovely pieces of jewellery you can wear with pride, give as gift or sell...I'd love you to share your final makes with me.  Have fun!
