Ever wondered how artists like Kerby Rosanes or Lei Melendres create their spectacular doodle art pieces? Me too.. But, over the past few months I have been studying their work and have acquired a few skills which help me create my own rendition of what I like to call, a "Super Doodle".
To be honest, it isn't easy to create a so-called "Super Doodle". One has to have nerves of steel and unending patience. But trust me when I say, the reward of a finished "Super Doodle" of your own making makes all the sweat and tears worth it.
Luckily for you however, I will be teaching you a few handy tips and tricks about the art of "Super Doodling", and before you know it you will find yourself creating these fantastic art pieces with minimal effort.Â
In this class we will be choosing a theme, and then building our illustration around that image. This class is the first of a series of classes, where we will explore the wonderful world of doodling together. In this class we will focus on using reference images and placing them into our doodle arrangement, to form our Super Doodle. In the next class we will use the existing doodle knowledge and add some of our own creativity into the mix, creating our very own, unique piece of art. In the final class we will combine both existing themes and you own imagination to create a completely new rendition of the theme in the form of a Super Doodle.
By the end of this class you will have learnt the fundamentals of how to create your very own themed "Super Doodle" using a theme of your choice, bringing you closer to the level of the masters like Mr. Kerby himself.
