In this class we will focus upon the benefits of Gesture Drawing and how it can improve your Figure Drawings drastically.  Gesture drawing helps us to look through the complexity of the human body and study the flow and rhythms of the forms.

If you feel that your figure drawings are stiff and lifeless then this is a very important technique to study.  I recommend doing this daily and It's a great way to warm up before you get into your more complex drawings.

You will also learn some basic rhythms of the arms and legs as well as some shapes to memorize that will simplify the anatomy.

In this class we also cover drawing the torso with the bean shape.  This also helps us to think more organically and avoid stiff character poses.  I find this technique to be extremely helpful in my own work so I wanted to share it with you!

I hope you enjoy this class and I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Sincerely,

Robert A. Marzullo
