My FREE Bonus Resources

  • I want to help you fill up your Assets Studio, so I create an assets set with popular fillers. You can check it out here.
  • Here's your class Pinterest board.

Assets are essentially the building blocks of any vector design, such as vector spot illustrations and vector seamless patterns. Personally, I build all of my patterns out of assets. You create assets one time, you save them into your library, and you can re-use them across all your documents. They’re really worth your time!

Affinity Designer is a fantastic alternative to Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Fresco on your iPad. With regard to vectors, it is also superior to Procreate (where you can only create raster illustration).

In this assets masterclass, we will be covering:

  • everything about the Pencil Tool (Stroke, Fill, stabilization etc.)
  • all about the Assets Studio in Affinity Designer
  • the main differences between Affinity Version 1 & Version 2
  • working across multiple artboards
  • sketching in the Pixel persona
  • organizing assets into groups & layers efficiently
  • using clipping masks
  • applying blend modes to vectors
  • the Knife Tool! (new in V2)
  • handy shortcut gestures for the iPad version

Who this class is for:

  • Artists
  • Surface Designers
  • Repeat Pattern Creators
  • Graphic Design Enthusiasts
  • Illustrators
  • Anyone creative who would like to draw beautiful vectors!
