Very interesting. The history and background of the Bolshevik revolution helps to explain why the Russian lifestyle is the way it is today. The secrets hidden to the outside world reveal a much more backward society since the revolution until today. Militarily they appeared to be a first world country while the rest of their culture was third world.

Excellent course. I enjoyed listening to professor Kenez. Fascinating lectures, great photos and Russian music- it was like watching a film.
