Prerequisite: None. Recommendation: Grade of "C-" or higher in Spanish P102; or equivalent proficiency as assessed by the instructor/advisor. Total lecture 72 hours. This course facilitates language acquisition through listening, speaking, reading, and writing within a cultural context. Intensive grammar review of the Spanish language supplemented with cultural readings and literary reading selections of Spanish and Latin American authors with the purpose of nourishing an understanding of the Spanish culture, and helping students make cross-cultural comparisons.
