In this set of tutorials we'll use adaptive and parametric modeling techniques to create a suspension bridge concept model in Revit. Software required: Revit 2014.
In this set of tutorials we'll use adaptive and parametric modeling techniques to create a suspension bridge concept model in Revit. We'll begin the process with some parametric modeling where we'll build the large arches supporting the cables of our bridge. We'll then create and place web members between the two large arches. Once those supports are in place we'll model the walkway surface as well as the supports system below. Finally we'll use adaptive techniques to model the suspension cables and their connections to the arches and walkway structure. Once you've worked your way through this tutorial, you'll be able to model similar structures as well as apply some of these techniques to various other design challenges. Software required: Revit 2014.
