In this Illustrator tutorial, we'll learn a mixture of both the theory of unification for asset families as well as the tools we can use to make our jobs a little easier. Every graphic designer encounters having to design a series of objects that go together in some way, shape, or form. Maybe it's illustrations for a poster, or icons for a website or signage. No matter what you're tasked with, as a designer you need to know how to elegantly design icons that capture the essence of what you're trying to show while still maintaining unification with the rest of their asset family. By the end of this Illustrator training, you'll have a better understanding of what makes an icon stand out in a bad way and how to fix it, as well as how not to make these types of mistakes in the first place by better managing your fills, strokes, colors, and gradients. Software required: Illustrator CC 2015.
