In this course, you will learn the basics of cloud computing focusing on the core features of cloud technologies, including cloud deployment models, networking concepts, storage types, and cloud design.

Being able to identify the different cloud storage technologies and understand important aspects of cloud design are essential for cloud computing. In this course, Cloud Computing Fundamentals: Cloud Concepts, you will learn a thorough grounding in Cloud concepts, by understanding the different deployment models and networking concepts. First, you will explore the different cloud deployment models and be able to identify and understand the different characteristics as well as understanding the shared responsibility model. Next, you will learn to identify cloud networking concepts, and understand the different connectivity types, common access types and learn more about load balancing, DNS, and firewalls. After that, you will be able to identify cloud storage technologies, and understand storage features and characteristics, as well as identify the different types of storage. Finally, you’ll understand the important aspects of cloud design and learn about redundancy, high availability, disaster recovery, and recovery objectives. When you're finished with this course, you'll have skills and knowledge behind the core concepts of cloud computing technologies and deployment models needed to continue exploring any of the cloud services available in the market.
