By completing this course students will comprehend basic networking concepts like LAN, WAN, computing networks, protocols, and the OSI Model. You will be able to explain encapsulation and headers, understand how to convert numbering systems, and explain the differences between unicast, multicast, and broadcast. Gain the knowledge to explain network hierarchical models, describe network devices, and common network services in the TCP/IP section of this course. Finally, you’ll take a look at an Aruba Switch with a hands-on demonstration where you’ll learn how to describe the Aruba OS-CX operating system, discover switch information with CLI show commands, perform basic configuration tasks, and discover network status and connectivity information.
