In this course, you'll learn how to create text templates in After Effects that can also be edited in Premiere Pro. You'll then move a step beyond that to learn how to plan for multiple lines of text and multiple font treatments. Software required: After Effects CC 2015, Premiere Pro CC 2015.

The people at Adobe have been cooking up some incredible things for those who use After Effects and Premiere Pro together, particularly in the feature Live Text. In this course, Using Live Text with After Effects and Premiere Pro, you'll learn how to create templates in After Effects with text that can be edited in Premiere, allowing you to create motion graphics that are far more flexible than ever before. First, you'll learn to set up your text in After Effects, including animating the type and using the graph editor. Next, you'll discover how to then bring your text into Premiere Pro and edit it. Finally, you'll even go a step beyond that to plan for multiple lines of text and multiple font treatments. By solving some of these real world problems in the course together, you'll be better prepared for when it comes time for you to create your own template. Software required: After Effects CC 2015, Premiere Pro CC 2015.
