These online recordings will provide pediatricians and family physicians with up-to-date clinical information on a wide range of clinical issues encountered in daily pediatric practice. The SARS-CoV2 virus and related COVID-19 pandemic have resulted in shutdown of schools and work places throughout the world. However, fundamental adherence to public health practices designed to mitigate infection are reasonably well-known and can be implemented both in school and the workplace. We will review what is known about COVID-19 epidemiology with a focus on pediatrics, including what we currently understand about the delta and omicron variants, the current efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccines, and where we still have knowledge gaps.
