This course is designed for students majoring in psychology, sociology and anthropology. The emphasis is on the use of statistics in behavioral science research. Topics discussed include procedures in hypothesis testing, descriptive, inferential and correlational statistics. Prerequisites: Course taught at the level of intermediate algebra or placement as determined by the college's multiple measures assessment process. Transfer credit: CSU;UC. C-ID: MATH 110.
