Overview

Microbes are living organisms that can be beneficial, neutral or harmful to humans. A basic understanding of microbiology will allow you to recognize how your role as an Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) person can help break the cycle of transmission, prevent health care-associated infections (HAI) and reduce antimicrobial resistance (AMR).

  • This course was extremely quick to complete especially if you already know much of the information beforehand, which I did, then it will only take around 20 minutes or so. Either way this course is a very good simple way to get a certificate of your knowledge which could be good on resumes. The course itself had no videos and only had small portions of reading, trust me it’s not a lot so don’t be intimidated, and after of which you take an 11 question multiple-choice test as proof.
