The Student as Partners in Educational Research is an ongoing initiative sponsored by eSTEeM: The OU Centre for STEM Pedagogy whereby OU undergraduate or postgraduate students are supported to participate as partners in STEM Educational research with OU staff, alongside their studies. eSTEeM manages a range of Educational Research projects with the aim of improving the student experience. Projects involves research connected to assessment, accessibility, educational innovations, tutorial support and many other areas of STEM pedagogy. Most of our projects benefit significantly from very close involvement with our own students and eSTEem actively encourages students to participate as members of project teams. Students who actively participate in this initiative via a recognised eSTEeM project are entitled to be awarded this microbadge. To enrol on this item, and gain the microbadge, you must have participated in a recognised research project and passed the associated iCMA. Earn this free Open University digital badge if you complete this course! The badge can be displayed, shared and downloaded as a marker of your achievement. The badge is awarded for completing the course and passing the quizzes.
