Dartmouth Health Continuing Education for Professionals Home, Nursing Grand Rounds Just Another Night of Violence: Brain Injuries from Intimate Partner Violence in New Hampshire, 3/26/2021 8:00:00 AM - 3/26/2024 9:00:00 AM, This presentation will provide an overview of the presenters research on understanding the complexities of help-seeking behaviors of survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV) and related acute brain injuries in rural settings in New Hampshire and explores how survivors normalize and minimize their own experiences. Providers need to be aware of legal and health care options and available resources for IPV survivors statewide.
