Studies the trigonometric functions, their inverses and their graphs. Covers identities and proofs related to trigonometric expressions and solving trigonometric equations, right triangles, and general triangles using the law of cosines and the law of sines. Provides an introduction to polar coordinates, vectors, and vector operations. Credit Limitations: MC and CSU - completing MATH M05 and MATH M06 is equivalent to completing MATH M07. 1) Students completing MATH M05, MATH M06 and MATH M07 receive a maximum credit of 7 units for MC and CSU; 2) MATH M05 and MATH M11 combined: maximum credit, 4 units.
