Introduces facts, principles and laws from physics, chemistry, and astronomy. Includes motion, force, energy, wave motion, electricity and magnetism, light, atomic and nuclear structure, chemical bonding and chemical reactions, solutions, organic chemistry, the solar system and planet Earth. Prerequisites: Intermediate algebra (MATH M03) or placement as determined by the college's multiple-measure assessment process.
