Prerequisite: Completion of the Mission College ESL Placement process. This course continues the development of listening comprehension and speaking skills. Listening focuses on comprehension of oral instructions and questions, of high-frequency vocabulary in context, and of main ideas and details in conversations and lectures. Speaking focuses on the clear pronunciation of common words and phrases and continues the development of basic English pronunciation patterns of stress and intonation.
