Prerequisite: FPT 300C. Corequisite: WRK 300FP. This is the fourth and final course in the Fire Prevention Internship Program and is the capstone course. Students will continue the process and documentation required for annual fire and life safety inspections in business, residential and recreational settings. Topics covered are: Hood & Duct Systems, Private Underground Systems, Fire Investigation, Knox Box Inspections, Community Education, Emergency Planning and Preparedness Measures and Fire ground Operations. Fire Prevention Interns are required to take WRK 300FP as a co-requisite to this course and will complete 10-14 hours paid employment per week at a fire agency, Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Interns may be assigned to 2 different agencies.
