Advisory: ESL 970RW This course is for students whose native language is not English. Students write academic essays and a short research paper. Emphasis is on the writing process, academic essay writing, and introductory research skills. The course also provides intensive practice with the sentence patterns, grammatical structures, and academic vocabulary necessary to produce clear, accurate prose.
