Prerequisite: ART 034A This is an advanced course combining computer graphics and fine arts image processing. The course utilizes micro-computers to create and manipulate images. It introduces the student to advanced concepts and principles. Specific projects are executed related to unity, variety, rhythm/pattern, color, movement, balance, computer particle animation and 3D modeling techniques. Students learn techniques for file management and data backup and recovery, and peripheral devices as creative tools for the artist.
