This course is designed to instruct students in the fundamentals of composing, preparing and presenting speeches in front of audiences. The focus will be on researched speeches to inform and persuade. By the end of the course, students should be speaking confidently and skillfully and should be able to transfer their understanding and skills from the classroom to "real world" situations.
