This course will fulfill the requirements of the first semester of freshman composition at the university level. All sections include readings from diverse voices and a variety of writing assignments. Students will use critical reading and thinking strategies to write primarily expository and argumentative texts that respond to a variety of rhetorical situations and contexts and incorporate college-level research.
