Presenters
Jay C. Buckey, Jr, MD graduated from Cornell University Medical College, and trained in Internal Medicine at New York Hospital and the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. He is a Professor of Medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and the Medical Director of the Center for Hyperbaric Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

Mary D. Chamberlin, MD
is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine and a graduate of Cornell University and UVM Medical School. She completed her residency at UVM and her fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at DHMC. She is the Program Director of the Hematology/Oncology fellowship and founded the Global Oncology fellowship elective in Rwanda.

Richard J. Comi, MD completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital and did his fellowship in Endocrinology at the National Institutes of Health. He is a Professor of Medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and the Program Director for the Fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at DHMC.

Cheryl Elinsky
graduated from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Physician Assistant Program. She is a Physician Assistant in General Internal Medicine, and an Instructor in Medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine. She developed the Topics in Medicine Program for Advanced Practice Providers at DH.

Jessica Salwen-Deremer is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry & Medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine.  She completed her PhD at Stony Brook University and her postdoctoral fellowship at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.  In her current position as clinical psychologist, she provides patient care and conducts research across both psychiatry and gastroenterology.

Learning Outcome(s)
Participants in the conference will identify and apply the most current treatment guidelines and standards of practice to provide optimal patient care, understand the principles of evidence based medicine and apply them to the care of patients, and identify innovative strategies to achieve clinical quality and safety goals.
