This three-course program provides those new to management roles with the skills and tools to become exceptional as a manager of people. You’ll learn how to be an effective manager and handle the most common management challenges including establishing credibility and trust with your team members, running productive meetings, dealing with rule-breakers and stars, giving constructive feedback, building culture, and evaluating performance.

This program stands apart from the countless courses on management in several distinct ways. The class segments are short and mission critical – focusing not on theories and concepts but on those practical management skills and tools of most interest and concern to real managers in real organizations. Course 1: Becoming a People Manager: Taking Charge with Care

There is never a second chance to make a first impression – and so getting off to a good start is an essential element of an exceptional manager’s journey.



Course 2: Effective Management and Communication

Management effectiveness is not found in some abstract theories but in how you handle the real world, day-to-day, moments that face every manager.



Course 3: Developing Your Personal Leadership Style

The most effective management starts from the inside – only those who know and can manage themselves will be able to effectively manage others.
