An introduction to the origins, current status, and future trends of major transnational issues confronting the global community. Students will learn about population trends, economic development and inequality, issues of access to basic human needs such as food, water, and healthcare, human rights, international conflict and security concerns, and environmental problems including those that contribute to climate change.
