This is the first course I have attempted from the Hong Kong university of Science and technology and I was quite impressed by the course. It is simple to understand and talks about Financial Regulations, Compliance, BCP, Security, Governance etc. Please note that this is a course for beginners and this course will help you to attempt complex courses in future. The delivery of the content was in simple English and comprehensive.

The course is informational and planned in a structured way. It could use some more elaboration and current industry standards in depth.
The last module where we have to submit 2 papers, needs to be reviewed by 2 other peers, and this is where am stuck. Unfortunately, i believe there are no other candidates taking this course and hence my paper is not being evaluated and instead of completed the course well within the time frame, the timeline is automatically pushed forward. And also my certificate is stuck.
this issue needs to be resolved. -
Helpful and interesting course. Recommend for someone wanting to grasp some basic knowledge on this domain.

First I would like to thank the instructors as they give me the chance to collect more information about something I already practice in my job career but with lack of some knowledge.
They let me know what is the fintech and how we can manage our work through this huge gate in market.
How to deal with our system and how to develop to avoid any gaps of risk. -
Good course.
But the last module where we have to submit two papers, needs to be reviewed by 2 others, and this is where i am stucked. There are no other candidates reviewing my project and hence my paper is not being evaluated and final project is not approved. And also i am not able to get certificate. This issue should be resolved. -

The Course was exposing. It was also detailed as to the inherent risks within a FINTECH and how to manage same within the context of the firm's risk appetite.
My only suggestion is that, the final project is solely peer-graded. I think the professor should just take few minutes to review as well.
Overall, the course was great. -
Interesting course although the assessment is quite demanding and the assessment questions could have been clearer. Very good content though, I definitely learned a few new things from this course.
-
there are a lot of repetitions and summaries that are becoming boring at the end especially that the course is too long and the material is kind of solid and too technical and detailed
