Creating colorful patterns on cakes can be achieved in multiple ways using a variety of mediums. In this class, Rachael will explore three different methods of applying buttercream to create colorful patterns within the surface of the icing. You’ll learn to how to crumb coat a cake in preparation for receiving a decorative buttercream layer. Rachael will teach you how to achieve perfectly straight lines of alternating colors with the use of cake combs. edges and colorful designs using acetate buttercream wraps.
