Syllabus

  • Module 1: The Landscape of 5G Mobile Networks
    • In this module, we'll have a comprehensive overview of 5G mobile networks. We will cover fundamental principles, key technologies, and advancements over previous generations. This module will give you the basic technical knowledge needed to understand the more advanced concepts in subsequent courses.
  • Module 2: The Architecture of 5G Networks
    • This module covers 5G network architecture, including core and RAN components, optimizing latency, spectrum, and network slicing. Learners will explore the different types of 5G network deployments, small cells in 5G, and the role of SDN in 5G.
  • Module 3: Key Technologies Powering 5G
    • In this module, you'll gain an in-depth understanding of the fundamental technologies that drive the extraordinary capabilities of 5G networks. We will explore MIMO and beamforming in 5G, including Massive MIMO. We will also delve into Millimeter waves, AI and Machine Learning, and Edge Computing.
