Peace, love, and Disco escape. Journey through this groovy escape room and take a cross-country journey in your Volkswagen van.
You and your friends have fixed up a '70s Volkswagen Transporter. After adding all the trippy details, you go for a celebratory ride... Groovy, right? During the ride, a sudden storm hits the coast, threatening the funky van. With lightning striking dangerously close, you scramble to make it out of town. In the blink of an eye, a bolt of lightning zaps the van.
The storm passes, and with some luck, you’re still kicking. As you cautiously step out of the van, you’re met with a surreal sight. The storm has transported you back in time- to the vibrant and colorful 70s.
In order to escape, you and your friends must visit important landmarks from the 70s and collect special pieces to bring you back! If you don't make it back in time, you are in danger of having to wear bell bottoms for the rest of your life!
What your group will do:
- Our facilitator will welcome the group, go over the rules of the game, and start the event with high energy
- We will then use breakout rooms to split your group up into mini-teams where they will be working to solve riddles, puzzles, and challenges to escape the room
- Groups will be presented clues in the form of character descriptions, virtual maps, audio clips, and video clips and will play mini-games to uncover additional information that will help them escape
- Most of the time will be spent in mini-teams, but you will still have the opportunity to interact with the whole group throughout the event
