Creative Writing WorkshopOften, writers collect a series of fragments for an intended story but are at a loss as to how to organize them in any meaningful way.The purpose of this course is to help writers consider new narrative structures through the close examination of post-modern works of fiction and nonfiction. Additionally, writers will consider form and function on the sentence level by studying how the specific arrangement of words and punctuation capture everything from the slowing or quickening of time, to the degradation or escalation of thought, to the recursive nature of obsession.Enrollment is limited to 12 students.Class meets online on Wednesdays: February 5, 12, 19, 26, March 5, 12, 19 and 26 from 6:30-9 pm.
