Winter is the perfect time to admire the variety, texture, and color of tree bark and capture this beauty on paper. Gain inspiration from the trees in your neighborhood, your local forest preserve, or photos of those that seem otherworldly across the globe. Create compositions by observing and depicting each tree’s unique bark tones and patterns, all from the comfort of home. All media welcome. A supply list will be sent.
This class will be taught online via Zoom. All registrations must be submitted online two days before your class starts. Registered students will receive login instructions one day in advance.
Prerequisites: Botanical Drawing 1 or comparable coursework.
