Overview

Other: Student must be employed or participating in an internship. This work experience course is designed to prepare working students for their future careers by integrating academic and on-the-job learning experiences. In collaboration with the instructor, each student will select learning outcomes to facilitate the successful development of employability skills appropriate in their job and/or their discipline. Students must be employed (either in a paid or volunteer capacity) to enroll in this course. Each unit requires 75 hours of paid work or 60 hours of volunteer work during the semester. Students may earn up to three (3) units each semester and students may earn a maximum of 16 semester credit hours for all types of work experience instruction while at Chaffey College. The volunteer or paid work experience need not be related to the students' educational goals. Transfer: CSU
