Topics include kinetics, equilibrium, acid/base/buffers, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, nuclear chemistry, descriptive chemistry, and organic chemistry. Laboratory provides hands-on activities to reinforce lecture concepts, develop chemical laboratory techniques, and use of the scientific method of inquiry.
