Gain in-depth knowledge of learning theories and how people learn
In a post COVID-19 world, students are increasingly needing to learn online. You’ll cover strategies on how best to teach both online and in the classroom, and will identify a range of different learning theories to help cover a range of different bases on how people learn.
You’ll also understand your responsibilities as a trainer, teacher or tutor, and will tackle the legislation that will need to be covered during any training session.
Plan and design training sessions to meet learner needs
You’ll learn how to maximise learning within a session using a range of teaching strategies, the ultimate aim being to deliver a motivating presentation in a supportive learning environment.
You’ll also cover a range of summative and formative assessment methods - such as standardised tests, exams, model-eliciting activities and feedback - in order to assess and mark learners, and will decipher which ones to use when.
